The second-generation iPhone SE (also known as the iPhone SE 2020) is apart of the 13th generation of the iPhone, alongside the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro/Pro Max models. Announced on April 15, 2020, the iPhone SE directly replaced the iPhone 8 series, while also being the successor to the first-generation iPhone SE. This iPhone is a similar model to the iPhone 8. It has the same body but with slight differences from the outside, and bigger ones on the inside. starting off with the apple logo. it is now centered and the iPhone writing is gone just like the iPhone 11 series. The inside, however, is a bit more different than the iPhone 8. It has longer battery life. It also has the A13 Bionic chip where the iPhone 8 has the A11 Bionic chip. This means that the iPhone SE will be faster, and better. The camera is improved a lot more. It now features Portrait mode with advanced bokeh and Depth Control and Portrait Lighting with all six effects (Natural, Studio, Contour, Stage, Stage Mono, High‑Key Mono) including Next-generation Smart HDR for photos, with the iPhone 8 having Auto HDR for photos, and no portrait mode. (only iPhone 8 plus has portrait mode). The iPhone SE also has stereo recording and quick take for video recording. If you’re thinking of upgrading to the iPhone SE, I would recommend you think about it wisely.
